ANDREW KNAPP/STAFF -- March 30, 2013 -- Authorities said Charleston police officers had stopped a red car on the ramp from southbound Savannah Highway to eastbound Interstate 526 when the motorist ran away, then turned and shot an officer. The motorist also was shot.
